Copenhagen Youth Project - one of our No More Red charity partners - recently held an event at Emirates Stadium where they raised £12,000.
As a NMR charity partner, they were given use of our stadium for free for their event, which proved to be a big success. The money raised will go towards a new music studio to be installed in their youth centre near King’s Cross, which aims to support young people interested in music to follow their passion and provide them with a safe space to nurture and develop their talent.
As well as items donated for an auction from supporters of the charity, we donated stadium tour tickets as well as two tickets to our FA Cup third-round tie against Liverpool, which has been designated as a No More Red-themed matchday.
Our players will wear all-white kits, and families of young people lost to knife crime will be invited to the game as well as key stakeholders of the project such as Islington Council, the Violence Reduction Unit, and No More Red charity partners.
