Our Ball Squad are an integral part of an Arsenal match day. Our Squad are positioned around the pitch, and directly support the first team, by getting the ball back into play as quickly as possible.
Each Season, our Ball Squad is made up of 20 Young Guns, who have been selected through our annual trials. The Ball Squad Trials have been carefully designed with the aim of recruiting a group of motivated and committed Young Guns. Our YGs are tested on their catching, throwing, agility, co-ordination and attitude towards team work.
If you are a Junior Gunners Member in the Young Guns group, and will be aged between 12 and 16 years in Season 2018/19 – we want to see YOU at our trials!
The Ball Squad trials will take place on April 10th 2018, at the Arsenal Hub, which is next to Emirates Stadium.
Please note, in order to be a part of our Ball Squad you must be available to attend every fixture held at Emirates Stadium in Season 2018/19. This includes all first-team fixtures as well as Youth fixtures and Women’s matches held at the stadium.
