On Tuesday 19th December, Arsenal faced West Ham in the League Cup. Once again, we treated a group of lucky Junior Gunners to our League Cup match day experience but this time, with a Christmassy twist!
Over at the Arsenal Hub, twelve Junior Gunners won the chance to take part in a series of mini-matches against twelve lucky Junior Hammers. The youngsters were welcomed to the Hub, along with their families, to play six-a-side matches, and all had tickets to attend the Arsenal v West Ham match at the Emirates afterwards. The Club mascots Gunnersaurus and Hammer Head made an appearance to cheer on their teams and pose for a few photos too! Following their matches, our teams were taken pitch-side by Per Mertesacker and presented in front of the Emirates crowds.
Inside the Emirates, we had two Executive Boxes decked out in Christmas gear for more JG winners. Fourteen Junior Gunners and their parents, were invited to watch the Arsenal match from the comfort of our Christmassy Boxes. Gunner and Hammer Head managed to find time to pop in and say here too! Our Box winners were treated to dinner and some JG goodies before watching the match from these great seats.
