The Junior Gunners team are recovering from a fantastic weekend at Camp Bestival!
The family festival took place in the grounds of Lulworth Castle in Dorset, from Thursday, July 28 until Sunday, July 31. The Junior Gunners team and Indesit returned for their third consecutive year at Camp Bestival with the JG Clubhouse, Indesit Launderette, PUMA Football and Arsenal Soccer Schools.
This year we went bigger and better, featuring popular editions to the PUMA and Arsenal Soccer Schools area. The Arsenal Soccer Schools coaches worked alongside PUMA to deliver special coaching sessions and some 5-a-side football games on an inflatable pitch. Indesit also brought along their washing machine challenge, giving fans a chance to win a pair of brand new PUMA football boots if they could top the days’ leader board!
Inside the JG Clubhouse, we also proved to be very popular, particularly the FIFA stations and free face paint! Next door in the Indesit Launderette, families came along to enjoy being taking care of by Indesit’s all singing, all dancing staff - they did actually sing and dance in-between washes!
Of course, it was Gunnersaurus who proved to be star of the show, in his specially designed space suit! When taking a breather from meeting and greeting families, Gunner stepped out onto the main stage in front of the big festival crowd!
Gunnersaurus rounded off his stage debut by taking a special on-stage selfie to post on his new Instagram channel @officialgunnersaurus – if you’re not already, make sure you follow him!
