Safe Standing
Wembley Stadium has received approval for licensed safe-standing as of the 2022-23 season. The safe-standing areas are located at the rear of the 3 blocks behind the goals on Level 1, at either end of the Stadium and will initially incorporate 700-1,000 seats each.
- There will be no sales of unreserved tickets in the safe standing areas.
- The ticket issued for the safe standing areas will differ from a normal seated ticket as “Safe Standing” will be clearly printed in large font so that it’s easily distinguishable for stewards.
- Tickets for this area will be sold in accordance with the Wembley Stadium Ticket Policy. Additional Entry Restrictions and a code of conduct may be implemented to assist in the Safe Management of the Safe Standing areas, which may include information such as:
- Ticket holders are required to occupy the space in front of the seat allocated to them on the ticket – They cannot migrate to different spaces within the section, as may be possible on conventional terraced standing accommodation.
- The area in question is for safe standing and so ticket holders must expect that other spectators will be standing (Although of course they may sit on their allocated seat before and after the activity, or during an interval or half time break).
- Sitting or standing on the barriers, or standing on the seats, will not be permitted (Ground rule 13).
- Ticket holders will not be permitted to admit non-ticket holders into the section.
- There is a minimum age limit of 12 years old.
All purchasers must be part of a Club or International membership Scheme or a season ticket/Card Holder.
