We’re delighted to reveal that this month the club scooped Campaign of the Year at the inaugural Sports Positive Awards for the Green Gooners Cup – our collaboration with Ball Corporation to encourage supporters to make small, everyday sustainable choices that positively impact the planet.
Using the Planet League platform, our three-week campaign featured Declan Rice, Gabriel Jesus and Jorginho, who encouraged supporter participation through online content and challenges.
Across the campaign we connected with nearly 8,000 Gooners across 164 countries who between them took nearly 56,000 actions – surpassing even our highest expectations.
Special thank you to all of those supporters who were part of this initiative. We’re proud that this competition has helped fans on their journey to greater sustainability.
