Do you offer a post-graduate or student rate for the conference?

Yes, we do offer a student rate for the conference. Please select the student rate ticket when booking a place at the conference. You will be required to show valid student ID on the registration desk when attending.

What happens if I book a place at the conference and then cannot attend?

As per our terms and conditions, delegates who notify the Arsenal FC SEMS team that they no longer wish to attend less than six weeks before the event will not qualify for a refund. We understand that on occasions a delegate may not be able to attend due to exceptional circumstances, in this case we would ask that an email is sent to: afcmedicalconference@arsenal.co.uk and event staff will respond within 24 hours.

I’ve tried to book a complimentary SEMS Conference tour of Emirates online and they are all full, is there a waiting list?

The tours of Emirates Stadium are very popular with delegates and due to the tight timings on the day we can only accommodate sixty delegates for tours of the stadium on the conference day. If tours are listed as full on the website please email: afcmedicalconference@arsenal.co.uk and ask to be placed on the waiting list. If a space becomes available a member of event staff will contact you prior to the conference.

How do I get to Emirates Stadium?

The conference is held at: Emirates Stadium, Royal Oak Suite, Between Turnstiles C & D, Emirates Stadium, London N5 1BU.

Is car parking available at Emirates Stadium on the day of the conference?

General car parking is not available at Emirates Stadium but there is limited space for blue badge holders. If you hold a blue badge please contact event staff on: afcmedicalconference@arsenal.co.uk and they will do their best to accommodate you.

Will there be Wi-Fi at the conference?

Yes, Wi-Fi will be available throughout the day and details of the Wi-Fi access code will be displayed through the presentation room and in your attendee pack.

Is the Arsenal FC SEMS Conference accredited for CPD?

The conference is currently in the process of applying for accreditation by FSEM UK for 5.5 hours CPD. Certificates will be available via email for all attendees post-conference.

What time does registration open on the conference day?

Registration is open from 07:30AM on Tuesday 19th March 2019.

Can I stow my bag / coat on the conference day?

There will be a complimentary cloakroom on the day for delegates to stow bags, coats and other items. Please keep bag size to a minimum where possible and note that all bags and luggage will be thoroughly searched by stadium security on arrival.

What time do lectures start on the conference day?

Lectures start promptly at 08:45AM. We would recommend arriving early to allow good time to register prior to the conference start.

I have special dietary requirements, who do I notify?

Please contact the Arsenal FC SEMS Conference team via afcmedicalconference@arsenal.co.uk they will be able to assist you with any queries regarding lunch and refreshments.

I have special mobility requirements, who do I notify?

Please contact the Arsenal FC SEMS Conference team via afcmedicalconference@arsenal.co.uk they will be able to assist you with any queries regarding your access and movement on the day.

Is there a quiet area to work at the conference?

We have no designated area for working during the conference but the exhibition space does have areas where some delegates choose to take phone calls and reply to emails while the lectures are in session.

What time does the conference finish?

The conference finishes at 5:00PM approximately. The conference normally runs to time but we would ask attendees to be mindful that the day may end slightly later.  

Do you give out certificates post-conference?

We do issue certificates post conference for delegates CPD folders. These are available via email after the course, these will automatically sent out on 25th March 2020.



How do I watch the presentations at the conference again?

All attendees will be sent a USB stick containing presentations from the conference (subject to speakers’ permission) six weeks after the event. There will also be a link sent to all at needs that directions them to footage of the conference through www.arsenal.com/semsconference
