Oleksandr Zinchenko created Ukraine’s equalising goal in Friday’s 2-1 win over Slovakia at Euro 2024.
After Ivan Schranz opened the scoring for Slovakia in the 17th minute, it was Oleksandr’s low cross from the left wing in the 54th minute that allowed Mykola Shaparenko to pull one back for Ukraine.

They then went ahead in the 80th minute, Roman Yaremchuk tucking the ball beyond Martin Dubravka.
Having played in both of Ukraine’s group matches, Oleksandr has now made 65 appearances for his country.
The win moved Ukraine up to second in Group E with three points ahead of Belgium v Romania at 8pm BST on Saturday, June 22.
Ukraine's next game is against Belgium at 5pm BST on Wednesday, June 26.
