Zech Medley moves to Kilmarnock on loan

Zech Medley has been recalled from his loan with Gillingham and has moved to Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock on loan for the remainder of the 2020/21 season.

The 20-year-old defender, who joined us as a scholar from Chelsea in November 2016, had been on loan with the League One side since August and has moved to Kilmarnock to continue his development.

A regular in our under-23s in recent seasons, Zech also broke into the first-team squad during this time. His fine form at the start of the 2018/19 season earned him his senior debut in November 2018.

The youngster impressed against Vorskla Poltava and it was followed by another Europa League outing against Qarabag at Emirates Stadium. During the 2018/19 season, Zech also came on as a late substitute in the FA Cup third-round victory at Blackpool.

Everyone at the club wishes Zech all the best with Kilmarnock.

The loan is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
