Xavier Amaechi has joined 2.Bundesliga side Hamburg on a permanent deal.
The 18-year-old forward was a regular with the Under-23s last season, making 14 appearances in the Premier League 2 and two appearances in the Checkatrade Trophy.
The England youth international joined us as a Scholar in summer 2017, signing as a young professional shortly afterwards in January 2018.
Xavier trained with the first team squad regularly last season, and was in the party which travelled to Dubai in March for a mid-season training camp.
We thank Xavier for his contribution to the club and wish him well for the future.
The transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
