Throughout November and December, we've been keeping Gunners up to date on what our Arsenal stars in Qatar have been getting up to with our World Cup Wrap-Ups.

In the latest edition, Bukayo Saka and Aaron Ramsdale preview England's quarter-final against France, while there's praise for Gabriel Martinelli.

Our Bukayo was a guest on the Lions’ Den on Thursday. When asked how Gareth Southgate has helped give him the confidence and freedom to succeed with the Three Lions he said:

"When I have the trust of the manager to pick me in the starting team, despite all the attacking quality that we have, it gives me huge confidence.

“He sees a lot of quality in me. He believes I can do it, so why should I doubt myself? I just go out there with the freedom and of course enjoy it.”

William faces off against Aaron and Bukayo when England take on France in Saturday’s World Cup quarter-final. Aaron was asked whether he had spoken to Wilo ahead of the match.

“No, nothing,” he responded. “I asked Bukayo this morning if he spoke to him – and he said he hasn’t.”

Bukayo was keen to earmark his club team-mate when asked who his favourite French player is. “I like William Saliba,” he said. “They have so many players. I could name a few."

Saturday’s fixture kicks off at 7pm.

Gabi's stretching himself

The Brazil camp have been taking stretching to a new level out in Qatar. Despite the unconventional position, our Gabi has been enjoying himself and his team-mates have been heaping praise on his inclusion in the squad.

“When the defensive line is playing against Vinicius, Raphinha and Richarlison, then Martinelli comes in, Antony comes in,” Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson said earlier this week.

“They think ‘what can we do?’ We are strong and we know that we have to be strong as well at the back.”
