Our warm-weather training camp drew to a close on Tuesday with a 3-2 win over Al-Nasr at Al Maktoum Stadium in Dubai.
Ronnie Fernandez’s early opener had given the hosts an early lead but after Carl Jenkinson had pulled us level on the stroke of half-time, Alex Lacazette buried Mesut Ozil’s clever flick to turn the game on its head.
Teenage striker Tyreece John-Jules then came off the bench to score his first goal for our senior team and although Jalal netted from the spot in the closing minutes, we held on to end our trip to the United Arab Emirates on a high.
