Player of the month

Vote for your men's Player of the Month for March

Voting is now open for our supporters to select their men’s Player of the Month for March.

It was a hugely successful one, as we navigated through our four Premier League encounters by taking the maximum 12 points, as well as drawing twice with Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League, albeit exiting the competition on penalties.

There were a number of star performances from a host of our first-team squad, however we have shortlisted four for your selection.

Here are the contenders:

Gabriel

Gabriel celebrates beating Fulham

The Brazilian defender continued his good form from February into March, with the highlight coming when he netted the opening goal against Fulham at Craven Cottage to set us on our way to a 3-0 victory.

However he was a rock at the other end of the pitch too, winning back possession 27 times across his six appearances, as well as making four interceptions and winning 32 duels.

Gabriel Martinelli

Gabriel Martinelli celebrates scoring against Crystal Palace

We scored 17 goals during the month, and our Brazilian attacker grabbed four of them to move to 13 for the season in all competitions.

He netted twice against Everton, before heading home at Craven Cottage and then opening the scoring against Crystal Palace a week later to continue his fine form in front of goal this term.

Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka celebrates scoring against Crystal Palace

Bukayo’s brace against Palace moved him level at the top of our goalscoring standings with Martinelli, and cap off another impressive month for our England international.

He was involved in five goals during the month, also finding the net in style against Everton as well as producing assists for Martinelli against the Toffees and Eagles, becoming the first player in the Premier League this season to reach double figures for both goals and assists in the process.

Leandro Trossard

Leandro Trossard celebrates our goal against Everton

In his five appearances for us during the month, Leandro managed to record five assists for his teammates as he continued to impress since his January arrival from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Three of those came in the first half against Fulham - the first time that had been achieved in the Premier League - while he also laid on goals during the wins against Everton and Palace.
