Our under-21s will make the short trip to East London for a Premier League 2 derby against West Ham United on Friday, February 7. The match will take place at The Rush Green Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 7pm (UK time).
In our last outing, we recorded our first three points of 2025 with a 2 - 0 victory over Nottingham Forest. Salah Oulad M’Hand and Khayon Edwards scored either side of half-time.
THE OPPOSITION
West Ham have enjoyed a successful season so far, with eight wins from their 12 Premier League 2 matches so far putting them in fifth. The Hammers are in form, winning their last three league matches, conceding just once on this run.
Much of their success this season has been built on a solid defence; the East Londoners have conceded just 13 goals in their 12 league matches, the second-best defence in the division.
Their most recent game showed off these defensive qualities once again, as the Hammers held out for a 1 - 0 win over Stoke City.
West Ham have also competed in the Premier League International Cup this season, but didn’t make it out of the group stage, taking seven points from their four matches.
Joshua Ajala has established himself as one to watch in the Hammers squad, scoring five times in ten starts this season.
