The young Lionesses are through to the U19 Women's European Championship semi-finals, following a 1-0 win over France on Saturday.
Our five Gunners all featured for England in the tie, as Poppy Pritchard's goal sent England through to the knockouts for the first time in over ten years.
Michelle Agyemang, Maddy Earl and Freya Godfrey started for England and combined well in attack, searching for an all-important breakthrough. In the first half, Agyemang's header from close range came close and Godfrey's powerful strike forced a good save from the French keeper.
Vivienne Lia then came on for Godfrey on the hour mark, before Pritchard broke away from the French defence to score. Centre-back Katie Reid was also a second-half substitute for the Lionesses.
They will now face defending champions Spain in the semi-final on Wednesday, July 24. Kick-off is at 12pm (UK).
