Our Under-18 Premier League Cup campaign kicked off with a thrilling eight-goal encounter against Liverpool on Wednesday. We took an early lead through Andre Harriman-Annous, and Dan Casey doubled our advantage from the penalty spot.
Harriman-Annous then secured his brace, but Josh Sonni-Lambie responded for Liverpool just before halftime, reducing the deficit. The hosts continued to push, with Sonni-Lambie narrowing the gap again in the 63rd minute, but Brando Bailey-Joseph swiftly restored our two-goal cushion
Liverpool kept the pressure on, as Afolami Onanuga made it 4-3, setting up a tense finish. However, Max Dowman scored late to seal our victory and ensure we remained in control of the match.
