Leandro Trossard came on in the 56th minute of Belgium’s 2-0 win over Romania at Euro 2024 on Saturday night.
It was his 36th cap at international level.
Following on from Monday’s surprise 1-0 defeat to Slovakia, Belgium got off to the perfect start against Romania with Youri Tielemans opening the scoring in the second minute of the match.
After Leo’s second-half introduction, Belgium thought they’d gone 2-0 up when Kevin De Bruyne put Romelu Lukaku through on goal, who found the back of the net.
But a quick VAR check determined the striker to be offside and the score remained 1-0.
De Bruyne, however, did make it 2-0 with just over ten minutes to go.
The result means there is all to play for in Group E going into the final group game, with all four teams level on three points.
Belgium are first, three positions ahead of Ukraine, who beat Slovakia 2-1 on Friday with the help of an Oleksandr Zinchenko assist.
Leo and Zinny go head-to-head at 5pm BST on Wednesday, June 26 in a potentially decisive fixture ahead of the knockout stages.
