Leandro Trossard came up against William Saliba as Belgium were beaten 2-1 by France in the UEFA Nations League on Monday night.
Randal Kolo Muani gave France the lead from the penalty spot at King Baudouin Stadium before Lois Openda equalised on the brink of half-time.
Muani completed his brace in the second half and France held onto the lead, despite being reduced to ten men following the sending off of Aurelien Tchouameni in the 76th minute.
Leandro and William both played the full 90 minutes as France made it nine points from four games in League A Group 2. They’re second, while Belgium are third with four points.
Elsewhere, Riccardo Calafiori played 90 minutes as Italy won 4-1 at home to Israel thanks to goals from Mateo Retegui, Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Davide Fratessi.
Italy remain top of League A Group 2 with ten points.
