'Torreira wants to be like Aubameyang, Lacazette!'

We were made to wait for the winning goal in our 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town on Saturday - but our patience was rewarded in style.

Lucas Torreira scored a stunning overhead kick to seal the three points with just seven minutes left on the clock.

Granit Xhaka was asked about the Uruguayan's performance after the match - and this is what he said:

on whether he still believed that they could seal the win…
We have to. I think it was a difficult game and Huddersfield played the whole game one against one, so it was difficult against them and we knew that before. 1-0 and three points is the most important thing for us.
on Lucas Torreira’s goal…
I think he wants to be like Auba and Laca! It’s an important goal for him and a great game for all of the team. As I said before, it wasn’t easy.
on the busy fixture schedule…
It was a perfect week for us. I think we started away in Bournemouth, after we had Tottenham at home and United away, and again today. Four games and ten points I think is a perfect week for us.
on going 21 games unbeaten…
We can still improve and we’re still working a lot. We have a lot of things to improve and do better, but we can be happy. It’s not normal that we are 21 games unbeaten, but we have a good team, a good spirit and this is what’s most important. We will keep going like this.
on the importance of patience…
Of course. We keep believing until the end, from the first minute to the 90th minute. It’s not always easy, but we believe a lot and today again we showed good character.
