Raul Sanllehi and Vinai Venkatesham met with fans to answer a broad range of questions posed at the latest meeting of the Arsenal Supporters’ Forum on Monday.
They explained how the recent training camp in Dubai worked well and they are optimistic about the remainder of the season, in particular the opportunity to climb the Premier League and compete for the Europa League and the Emirates FA Cup.
Forum members were told the club will hold ticket prices flat across General Admission and Club Level for next season, with final pricing dependent on qualification for European competition. This is the sixth season in a row prices have been frozen in General Admission areas, and the third season for Club Level.
Stadium and Facilities Director John Beattie explained that the club continues to do on-going research into the viability of rail seating at Emirates Stadium. He said we have recently received an independent report which is being examined. The report underlined the complexity of creating rail seating areas in the stadium, including in relation to reducing total capacity and challenges around sight lines when standing. Work continues in this area.
The Arsenal Supporters Trust raised questions about how we can drive better home attendances and the possibility of home credits. Vinai agreed that maximising attendance is an important area and a key priority for the Club moving forward. Ticketing and Fan Services Director Ivan Worsell explained that the Ticket Exchange service will continue to be developed with the aim of improving attendance and usage continues to grow based on recent changes. He also explained that work has started to review the possibility of introducing home match credits.
