Sister club focus: Watling FC

We work closely with 18 grassroots football clubs as part of our FA Womenโ€™s Super League Sister Club programme.

Our programme is one of the biggest in the country and the aim of our support is to get more girls playing football. Over the course of the season we will be focusing on a number of the clubs and sharing information on how girls can start playing football.

The latest club that we will be focusing on is Watling FCโ€ฆ

Watling is a Charter Standard club based in Dunstable. They run a number of teams including their girls U15's. The girls have been together since U10's and have been league and cup winners numerous times.

"Our relationship is very new with Arsenal Women but something we hope to grow over the coming seasons and use this to benefit our clubs involvement in Girls football"

The club are actively looking to increase their number of teams to give girls more chance to enjoy football.

Training sessions are held on Tuesdays 8-9pm at the Bedfordshire FA 3G facility.
