Robbie Burton joins Dinamo Zagreb

Robbie Burton has joined Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb on a permanent transfer.

The 20-year-old midfielder joined the club when he was just six years old and developed through the ranks at the Arsenal Academy.

The graduate secured his first professional contract in August 2018 and has since made 25 appearances for our under-23s, scoring five times. This season Robbie also wore the captain’s armband for eight of his appearances.

Robbie’s hard work was recognised last summer when he joined the first team on their pre-season tour of the United States, where he made his first-team debut, playing a full 90 minutes against the Colorado Rapids and coming off the bench in our win over Bayern Munich in the International Champions Cup.

Robbie also appeared in the first-team squad for our Carabao Cup fixture against Nottingham Forest in September.

The Wales youth international has featured for his country up to under-21 level.

Everyone at the club wishes Robbie the best of luck for his future.

The transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
