Declan Rice has won the Emirates Goal of the Month award for April with his second stunning free-kick against Real Madrid.
With 67% of the vote, Declan beat Mariona Caldentey v Lyon and Bukayo Saka v Real Madrid to the award.
Just 12 minutes after Declan opened the scoring with an excellent finish in our UEFA Champions League quarter-final first leg at home to the Spanish giants, he cemented it as the game of his life with an unstoppable free-kick into the top right corner, giving Thibaut Courtois no chance.
Refelcting on the moment earlier this week, he said: “It was a special moment obviously them two goals, just the fact it was back-to-back, it was the first one and then the second one straight after. I'm not sure I'll probably ever do that ever again to be honest with you.
“It was a real special moment and obviously to help the team get through, to be honest I'm still speechless when I look back at them, it's just incredible.”
