Reiss Nelson joins Fulham on loan

Reiss Nelson

Reiss Nelson has joined Fulham on loan for the 2024/25 season.

The 24-year-old joined our academy at the age of eight and has made 90 first-team appearances, scoring eight goals and assisting nine times. He was part of our 2020 FA Cup-winning side and involved in our FA Community Shield victories in 2017 and 2020.

Reiss made 68 appearances across our academy teams, at Under-18, Under-19, and Under-23 levels, scoring 25 goals with 11 assists in the process. On his journey to our first team, Reiss signed his first professional contract with the club in December 2016.

The forward made his senior debut for us when he came on as a substitute in the season opener against Chelsea in the 2017 FA Community Shield, when we defeated Chelsea 4-1 on penalties at Wembley Stadium. Reiss’s first goal for us came in a 5-0 win against Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup at Emirates Stadium in September 2019.

Reiss’s season-long loan with Fulham will be his third loan spell, following valuable experience with German side Hoffenheim in the 2018/19 season, and Dutch club Feyenoord in the 2021/22 season.

Everyone at Arsenal wishes Reiss all the best for this coming season with Fulham.

The loan deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
