In pictures: Calafiori's first day as a Gunner

The first day at a new club for a player is always a whirlwind, and for Riccardo Calafiori it was no different.

After jetting into Philadelphia to put the finishing touches on his move and complete a medical, he met Mikel Arteta and manager director Richard Garlick before putting pen to paper on his long-term deal.

The ink was nearly dry before he was whisked away for media duties, and then it was off to training at Philadelphia Union with his new teammates for a light workout.
