Thomas Partey has won our October Goal of the Month award thanks to his stunning strike in the north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Ghanaian drove the ball into the top corner to start the scoring in our 3-1 win on October 1, and his magnificent first-time strike that left Hugo Lloris helpless was a firm favourite with our supporters, with 51 per cent of all votes cast opting for Thomas’ thunderbolt.
In fact, it was a one-two for Partey, whose similar strike against Nottingham Forest at the end of the month came in second place with 21 per cent, while Jordan Nobbs’ effort against FC Zurich took the bronze medal position with 15 per cent.
