August
The season begins with a visit of Gary O’Neil’s Wolves on Saturday, August 17 at 3pm UK time, a side we have won each of our last six games against - a nice omen as we look to get off to a winning start.
Our first away game will see us head to Villa Park to face an Aston Villa side itching to get their Champions League campaign underway a few weeks later, before the opening month rounds off with a visit from Brighton & Hove Albion, now under the management of 31-year-old Fabian Hurzeler. By this time, we’ll know our eight Champions League opponents following the draw on August 29.

What looks to be a huge month begins with an international break, but domestic action returns with a bang when we head to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first north London derby. We’ll get our League Cup campaign underway in the third round the following midweek, before another tough road trip at champions Manchester City.
Then comes our first foray into the new-look Champions League with the first of eight league stage matches, before our first encounter with a newly promoted side when Leicester City return to north London.

We begin the month with our longest away league trip of the campaign when we head to Newcastle United’s St James’ Park, but following that comes a lengthy run of Premier Lague clashes inside the capital that takes us into 2025.
More European action comes though before a game against Chelsea, which could be moved from its current Saturday slot with the Blues likely to be in Europa League action the previous Thursday. After the final international break of the year, another Champions League fixture is sandwiched between a home game against Nottingham Forest and a trip to West Ham United, now managed by Julen Lopetegui.

Everton are next up, and after a potential League Cup tie, the festive fixtures get underway. Four days before Christmas we head to Crystal Palace, and we will spend Boxing Day at home when Ipswich Town pitch up for their first league visit in 22 years. 2024 ends with a trip to Brentford, currently scheduled for two days before New Year’s Eve.

The big games keep coming as we enter February, with Manchester City heading to Emirates Stadium to kick off the month. That is one of four guaranteed games, with potentially four others to come if the cup competitions fill our agenda.
Should we finish between ninth and 24th in the Champions League table, then we’ll require a two-legged play-off game to try and advance to the last 16 stage. These are between an away game against newly-promoted Leicester City, with a home game against West Ham to follow. Currently, our only away midweek league game of the season comes against Nottingham Forest late in the month.

March
There are just two Premier League games scheduled in March, but they’re both tasty affairs. After a potential FA Cup fifth-round date, we head to Old Trafford looking to replicate last season’s victory in the red half of Manchester, and a week later Chelsea visit our corner of the capital for a London derby.
We’ll be hoping that we’re still be fighting on all fronts by this stage, which would mean that game could move should we reach the League Cup final scheduled for the following day. The other key dates this month could be the Champions League round of 16, with the FA Cup reaching its quarter-final stage following the last international break of the season.

Our first trip to Portman Road since 2001 follows that, while we’ll be hoping to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup at the end of the month, or if not we’ll be hosting Crystal Palace on the same weekend. Should we reach the final four of the Champions League, the first leg will conclude a potentially hectic month.

That will come the day after the FA Cup final, which is due to take place before the end of the league season. Whatever happens in the cup, we’ll end our domestic campaign with a game at Southampton’s St Mary’s Stadium on Sunday, May 25, with the Champions League final scheduled six days later.
