Ethan Nwaneri’s superb strike against Preston North End has been nominated for the Carabao Cup Goal of the Round, and your votes can help him win!
The 17-year-old found the top corner in style to follow up his two-goal haul against Bolton Wanderers in round three with his third of the competition at Deepdale, and that wonderstrike is one of six contenders for round four's award.
Ethan stole the headlines with our second of the night, when he received the ball from Gabriel Jesus just outside the box. Allowing the ball to cross his body, he whipped his left foot around the ball and watched it fly past a stunned Freddie Woodman as it crashed into the top corner.
The teenager will hope to beat off competition from Djeidi Gassama of Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton’s James Bree, Cody Gakpo who scored for Liverpool, Pape Sarr of Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United midfielder Casemiro, who have also been selected as options.
