Brooke Norton-Cuffy has joined Serie A side Genoa in a permanent transfer.
The 20-year-old is a product of our youth academy system, joining us at the age of 10. During his time with us, Brooke made great progress through our development programme, and joins the Italian side after some valuable loan experience where he made over 100 senior appearances.
The right-sided defender spent last season on loan with Millwall where he was a regular, impressing throughout the campaign and making 40 Championship appearances.
During the previous campaign, Brooke was an integral part of Coventry City’s run to the Championship play-off final, featuring 21 times in all competitions following his January move to the Sky Blues.
During his development with us, Brooke played over 30 times across Premier League 2, U18s Premier League and the FA Youth Cup, and in addition to the Coventry and Millwall experiences, he also had valuable loan spells at Rotherham United in the Championship and Lincoln City in League One. He was also a member of the England squad which won the European Under-19 Championships in 2022.
