Wojciech Szczesny wants to see Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker nominated for the November Player of the Month award.
The Arsenal keeper kept a sixth clean sheet in his last seven games during the 3-0 victory over Cardiff City on Saturday.
"I have been working hard myself but the defence have helped me massively"
Szczesny made a crucial stop from Frazier Campbell in the second half but he put the rest of the shut-out down the defence in front of him, especially the watertight partnership at centre back.
“If one of [Laurent or Per] is not nominated for Player of the Month I will be amazed,” he said. “We have conceded one goal in November. We have been great and playing behind [all four of] them is a pleasure for me.
“I have been working hard myself but the defence have helped me massively. It is smashing to play behind the same back four every week. You don’t know how important that is.
“Yes I am keeping clean sheets but I have not had many saves to make.”
