Aaron Ramsey says Arsenal's willingness to defend together as a team is behind their superb run of form.
Arsene Wenger’s side took another big step in the race for a top-four place with a 1-0 victory at Fulham on Saturday, making it 16 points out of a possible 18 in the Premier League.
"Our centre backs made a lot of clearing headers. They were up for the battle and they topped off a good week for themselves"
Ramsey was delighted with the win and highlighted Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny's role in claiming yet another clean sheet.
“We're defending really well as a team,” he said. “We're defending high up. Communication is good between the team and the two of them. Everyone is working for each other at the moment and I think everyone can see that.
“Fulham had a few corners, which they are normally quite dangerous on. We dealt with them and our centre backs made a lot of clearing headers. They were up for the battle and they topped off a good week for themselves.
“It was important to win the game. We've given a lot in every game we've played this week and maybe that showed at times here. We weren't as fluid as we normally are but we dug in, kept a clean sheet and were up for the fight again.
“It's always a difficult place to come to. In the last couple of seasons, it's always been tough and it was no different again here. We kept a clean sheet and scored the goal so we're delighted."
