Podolski - 'Great' support can help us

Lukas Podolski

Lukas Podolski says the "great support" of Arsenal's travelling fans can help secure a vital victory at Queens Park Rangers on Saturday.

Arsene Wenger's side head across London this weekend to face Harry Redknapp's relegated side but history is against them - Arsenal have never won a Premier League game at Loftus Road.

It remains to be seen whether QPR are invigorated or deflated after losing their top-flight status last week but Podolski insists that Arsenal's performance is what matters most.

"I think you must not concentrate on the other team, we must concentrate on ourselves," he told Arsenal Player.

"We have the quality. We have a great team and we're on a run in the last few matches. We must fight. It's not easy but we have the quality and we want the three points from QPR and the next matches.

"Every match is a final now. You must fight for the three points. We want nine points and I think when we get nine points, we will be in the Champions League.

"I don't look at what QPR are doing. They will fight but I think we have the ability to beat them. I hope for more great support from the Arsenal fans like usual."
