Serge Gnabry has hailed Santi Cazorla for making it “easy” to play alongside him.
The Spain international scored twice on Saturday as Arsenal maintained their place at the top of the Premier League with a 2-0 win against Fulham.
Gnabry was relieved to secure the win, and credited a change of tactics at the interval for helping turn the game in the Gunners’ favour.
"It is so easy to play next to Santi - he is a great player with great vision and it is very enjoyable to play alongside him"
“The first half wasn’t really our game, I didn’t feel like we were playing at home,” the teenager said. “But in the second half we grabbed the win with Santi getting two goals and I’m really happy with the result.
“The manager changed our tactics [at half time]. We didn’t press enough in the first half, we didn’t push up the field so it was too easy for them to play through us. In the second half we changed that and it went much better.

With Theo Walcott due to miss the rest of the injury, Gnabry is determined to make the most of his opportunity in the side.
“That is the business, it is bad luck for Theo but I am happy to be playing at the moment and just trying to do my best,” he said.
“I feel good in the squad, they are all helping me, but I felt like I could have done better [against Fulham] and I should have scored.”
