Spanish youth international Hector Bellerin has extended his loan spell with Watford until the end of the 2013/14 season.
Since teaming up with the Championship side, the 18-year old defender has made six appearances - including an eye-catching performance in an entertaining 3-3 draw with Leeds United, which saw him produce a superb assist for the Hornets’ second goal.
Having signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2012 after a string of fine performances for the under-21 side, Hector made his first-team debut in the Capital One Cup tie against West Bromwich Albion earlier this season, coming on as a substitute in extra-time.
The pacy right-back was also a member of the Spanish Under-19 side that reached the semi-finals of the Uefa European Under-19 Championship in the summer.
Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Hector the best of luck during his continued stay with Giuseppe Sannino’s side.
