The last time we beat Bayern Munich - 2-0 at Emirates Stadium last season - Mesut Ozil scored the decisive second goal.
While the World Cup winner was criticised in some quarters after Saturday’s win over Hull City, Arsène Wenger says our No 11 is “highly focused” to ensure a similar result at Allianz Arena on Wednesday evening.

“I have no doubt that we play in Germany and Ozil is highly focused to have a good performance,” the manager said at his pre-match press conference.
Ozil is not the only member of our squad back in his homeland for the Bayern game - Shkodran Mustafi has travelled too.
“I’m pleased with both,” Wenger added. “They have a very good attitude and approach, which German players often have. [I’m satisfied] with their performances too.
“Mustafi has brought us a lot of stability - he’s strong in the challenges and has developed.
“Ozil has played here for a few years and perfectly knows our team and the way we want to play in every game. I think for both this will be an important game.”
