In August, we became the first Premier League football club to launch a fully interactive children's app specifically for our young supporters.
Six months later, the Junior Gunners app has been shortlisted for Digital Platform of the Year in the BT Sport Industry Awards 2017.
The Junior Gunners app has been extremely popular among our young supporters, particularly the game 'Pocket Player' which features digital avatars of twenty first-team and Ladies players.
In addition to the Pocket Player game, the Junior Gunners app is host to a range of fun and educational games for Junior Gunners and young Arsenal fans globally. They can start by creating their very own Arsenal avatar and look forward to playing Squad Boss where they will manage their very own six-a-aside Arsenal team throughout the season. There are also a number of trophies to be won by completing challenges in both of these games and other areas of the app.
We also introduced a Christmas-themed 'Winter Wonderland' into the app over the festive period which included a JG advent calendar, a new penalty shoot-out game, new avatar accessories and new trophies.
Junior Gunners can look forward to more themed app releases and new pocket players in the future.
