Loan Watch: Toral makes debut

Jon Toral made his Rangers debut and played 63 minutes in the 2-1 Scottish Cup win over Motherwell. Louis Moult gave the visitors the lead, before Kenny Miller’s double turned the game for Rangers.

Jack Wilshere played the whole game as Bournemouth drew 2-2 with Watford. Christian Kabasele gave the visitors the lead before Josh King’s equaliser. Troy Deeney put the Hornets back in front before Benik Afobe drew the Cherries level in the 82nd minute.

Calum Chambers played the entirety of Middlesbrough’s 3-1 loss to West Ham United, assisting Boro’s goal. Andy Carroll opened the scoring before Cristian Stan’s equaliser, set up by Chambers’ cross. Carroll then scored again before Jonathan Calleri added a third late on.

Wojciech Szczesny played the full 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet as Roma beat Cagliari 1-0. Edin Dzeko scored the game’s only goal.

Joel Campbell was a 63rd-minute substitute as Sporting Lisbon drew 2-2 with Maritimo. Eber scored in the eighth minute for Maritimo, before Bas Dost’s leveller. Raul Silva put the hosts back in front, before Gelson Martins equalised for Sporting.

Dan Crowley played 89 minutes as Go Ahead Eagles drew 1-1 with Excelsior. Pedro Chirivella gave the Eagles an early lead, before Nigel Hasselbaink’s equaliser.

Kelechi Nwakali played the entirety of MVV Maastricht’s 2-1 loss to VVV Venlo. Johnatan Opoku put Venlo in front, with Ricardo Ippel equalising for Maastricht. Ralf Seuntjens scored the winning goal in added time. Stefan O’Connor was an unused substitute.

Julio Pleguezuelo was as an 88th-minute substitute as Mallorca drew 1-1 with Reus Deportiu. Dean Lekic scored the game’s opening goal before Mayor’s equaliser.
