Francis Coquelin has made 22 appearances this season, making him a mainstay of our midfield.
Since the injury to Santi Cazorla in October, the Frenchman has lined up alongside a number of his team-mates in central midfield.
In recent weeks, a burgeoning partnership with Granit Xhaka has blossomed - and Coquelin has been impressed by the Switzerland international’s qualities.
“His quality on the ball, his range of passing, passing the ball from deep [is great]. He has a final ball,” Coquelin told Arsenal Player. “He is a complete player. I don't know how many caps he has for Switzerland and he's only 24. He's still adapting but he's doing great.
“Any team would struggle [without Santi]. He's been unbelievable since he signed here,” Coquelin added.
“I think the players who have played in his position have done well as well. Ramsey, Xhaka et al… you have to praise them as well.”
