There have been plenty of great goals, fantastic tackles and super saves in 2016 - but something else stands out for Petr Cech from the past 12 months.
What is poignant for Petr isn’t any individual moment of brilliance from one of his team-mates, but the spirit and mentality of the squad.

“I think it’s been the unity of the team throughout the year [that has stood out most],” Cech said.
“We’ve got a great bunch of players and unity in the team. This was something which stands out for me.
“We’ve been in difficult moments but the spirit is so good that we’ve been able to react.
“We want to have more points than anyone else. That’s always our target. We finished second last year so we would like to get better.”
