Mohamed Elneny has been nominated for the African Footballer of the Year award.
The Egypt international is one of 30 nominees shortlisted for the prize, currently held by Borussia Dortmund's Gabon forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Twelve of the nominees are from the Premier League, while former Arsenal forward Gervinho has also been nominated for the award.
The winner will be announced in January and will be decided by a vote among coaches and technical directors of African teams.
