Wojciech Szczesny played the full match as Roma picked up a 2-1 win over Inter Milan. Edin Dzeko opened the scoring before Ever Banega levelled for the Nerrazurri. Kostas Manolas then struck the winning goal for Roma.
Glen Kamara played the final five minutes as Colchester United lost 2-0 to Carlisle United at Brunton Park. Jason Kennedy put the Cumbrians in front, before Jabo Ibehre weighed in with the game’s second goal.
Stefan O’Connor came on in added time of Maastricht’s 2-1 home win over Cambuur. Ricardo Kip put the visitors in front, before goals from Jeroen Schroijen and Dyon Gijzen saw the hosts come from behind to win. Kelechi Nwakali was an unused substitute in the same match.
