Olivier Giroud scored as France won 3-1 against Italy in Bari.

Anthony Martial scored the opening goal of the game, before Graziano Pelle equalised for the hosts. Giroud then restored the lead for Didier Deschamps’ side, sending a superb volley inside the far post after Layvin Kurzawa’s flicked header. Kurzawa added a goal of his own late on to seal the win.

Laurent Koscielny played 83 minutes before being substituted.

Alexis played 90 minutes for Chile, who lost 2-1 to Paraguay in a World Cup qualifier. Oscar Romero and Paulo Da Silva put Paraguay two goals ahead before Arturo Vidal pulled a goal back.

David Ospina played the full 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet as Colombia beat Venezeula 2-0 in World Cup qualifying thanks to goals from James Rodriguez and Macnelly Torres.

Hector Bellerin played the full match as Spain Under-21s racked up a 6-0 home win over San Marino. Diego Gonzalez was first on the scoresheet, with both Munir and Santi Mina scoring two goals each before Inaki Williams completed the rout.
