Despite the Czech Republic's pressure, Ozan Tufan doubled the Crescent Stars’ lead just past the hour mark with a powerful strike from inside the box. The Czech Republic continued to attack, but were unable to pull a goal back as they finished bottom of Group D. Tomas Rosicky did not play.

Friday, June 17, Czech Republic 2-2 CroatiaTomas Rosicky claimed an assist and Petr Cech played the full 90 minutes as the Czech Republic came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Croatia. Ivan Rakitic doubled their advantage, but Rosicky helped drag the Czech Republic back into it with a brilliant outside of the foot cross for Milan Skoda to head home. There was then late drama as Tomas Necid buried a 93rd-minute penalty to equalise after a handball in the box.
