Clayton Donaldson opened the scoring after 10 minutes and he scored another goal thanks to Toral’s assist. Bristol City pulled one back through Jonathan Kodjja, but Donaldson completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot just before the interval. Kodjja scored his second of the game in the 66th minute but Jonathan Grounds put the game beyond doubt.

Sa completed his hat-trick just after the hour mark, and Oliver Norwood finished the scoring three minutes from the end.
