Arsenal Ladies captain and assistant coach Kelly Smith has signed a new contract with the club.
The 36-year-old forward, who is now in her third spell with Arsenal, skippered the team to FA Cup victory last season, scoring a magnificent free-kick in the final.
Smith was capped 117 for England, scoring a record 46 goals for her country in a 20 year international career. She announced her retirement from the national side earlier this month.
Everyone at the club looks forward to Kelly’s continued contribution in the season ahead.
