The club would like to say a big thank you to Cooper Tire Europe, the Official Tyre of Arsenal Football Club, who generously donated 10 tickets for Wednesday night’s Champions League game against Besiktas to youngsters from Arsenal’s Premier League Kicks programme.
The Premier League Kicks team represented Arsenal in an under-16s tournament against Millwall and Green Island FC, from Belfast, on 2 August in Bellingham, south east London, where the Arsenal boys put in some fine performances to claim victory.
Arsenal in the Community runs the Premier League Kicks initiative in Camden, Islington, Westminster and Hackney over six different sites on six days a week. One of the main aims of ‘Kicks’ is to encourage volunteering and create routes into education, training and employment.
Cooper Tire Europe’s partnership with Arsenal Football Club began just ahead of the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League season.
