Team news: Giroud, Arteta, Gibbs, Theo

Olivier Giroud in action against Everton

Arsene Wenger has given the latest team news ahead of Wednesday night's Champions League play-off second leg against Besiktas:

on Olivier Giroud…
He will not play tomorrow and he will see a specialist tomorrow. After that we will make an announcement of how long he will be out for.

on it being a long-term injury…
It can be. We will see tomorrow.

on whether it's a broken foot…
I don't know, it's sad for us but at the moment we are focused on tomorrow's game.

on other team news…
Mikel Arteta is still out from his ankle injury. He is quite a short term injury, he could be back quite quickly. Everyone else is available.

on Kieran Gibbs…
Kieran Gibbs has his hamstring [issue] - I count him as after the break.

on Theo Walcott…
Theo is doing well but we will respect the timing [of his return]. The timing is end of the month to join in again, after the break I think he will be in full training.
