Arsenal Ladies to host Festival Fanzone

Arsenal Ladies are hosting a FREE Festival Fanzone at Boreham Wood FC for young supporters ahead of their Super League match against Notts County on Sunday July 27 (kick off 2pm).

The Ladies are teaming up with Arsenal Soccer Schools Hertfordshire and the Herts FA to put on the event for boys and girls aged between five and 13.

Participants will take part in five-a-side matches, and get to show off their skills in the FA Fanzone activities trailer, which will include a speed shooting cage and batak boards.

There will be prizes up for grabs too, and every child will receive a free ticket to the Super League match against Notts County that afternoon. One accompanying adult will also have the opportunity to purchase a match ticket for the reduced price of £3.

The festival runs from 11.30am to 2pm, followed immediately by Arsenal Ladies’ Super League match. Entrance is free and you can register your child’s place here . One accompanying adult will also have the opportunity to get into the game for £3 (normally £5).

A full running order for the day is below:

11.30am - Arrive and register
11.45am-1pm - Five-a-side matches
1pm-1.45pm - FA Fanzone activities and Gunnersaurus' Golden Tickets giveaway. Chance to win some great prizes including signed shirts, signed balls, 2015 season tickets, player visits and much more
1.45pm - Transfer to stadium for match
2pm - Arsenal v Notts County kicks off
2.45pm - Presentation of ‘Golden Ticket’ prizes at half time

The Festival Fanzone will include:

- One hour of five-a-side matches run by Arsenal Soccer Schools
- A Gunnersaurus Golden Ticket Giveaway - 15 golden tickets up for grabs to win prizes such as signed shirts, signed balls, ALFC 2015 season tickets, an ALFC player visit and much more
- FAWSL Fanzone - Try fun activities such as the speed cage, batak boards, face painting, hair braiding, an interactive trailer, freestyler and much more
- Meet the Arsenal Ladies players
- Free entry (for the child) into the match
- A free ‘FAWSL Activity Booklet’ on entry to the match (including crosswords, quizzes and predict the scores)

Car Parking: All parents and supporters are advised to use the Brook Road car park on the day, located behind Boreham Wood FC and walk through Meadow Park to access where the Festival Fanzone will take place. Brook Road Car park is FREE on Sundays.
