We're delighted to announce a new branded content partnership with National Geographic Partners.
Running until 2021, the partnership will create new storytelling content to highlight the tourism opportunities that our official partner, Visit Rwanda, has to offer.
The creation of these stories will utilise National Geographic’s world-class photographic and storytelling capabilities to tell the unique story of Rwanda to National Geographic’s audience around the world, which will be available to enjoy on the National Geographic digital and social travel platforms.
World-renowned photographer Charlie Hamilton James and travel writer Heather Greenwood Davies visited Rwanda in February, to create captivating stories and images for this new campaign.
The National Geographic explorers travelled from Kigali’s bustling Kimiroko market to the evergreen Nyungwe National Park, one of the oldest protected mountain rainforests in Africa, to showcase the diversity of environments and present the tourism opportunities that Visit Rwanda has to offer.
