Lucas scored and assisted in Deportivo’s 3-1 win over Las Palmas in Gran Canaria. Loic Remy’s seventh-minute strike gave the hosts an early lead, but Celso Borges equalised before half-time. Lucas then set up Borges’ second after the break, before slotting home from the penalty spot to secure the win.
Joel Campbell was a 76th-minute substitute in Real Betis’ defeat at Espanyol. Gerard Moreno scored the winner, latching onto Pablo Piatti’s pass in the 55th minute as the hosts held on to keep all three points in Barcelona.
